synopsis

SHASN is an epic game of politics, ethics, and strategy for 2-5 players. Capture, gerrymander, and maybe even betray your ideals to win. You are a politician competing for the fate of the nation. As a heated election battle unfolds, you will have to make tough choices every step of the way. Your choices will earn you the resources needed to fuel your campaign.

With dedicated communities in more than 60 countries and 2000 cities, SHASN has become India’s first global tabletop export since Chess. It is also the largest ever crowdfunding campaign in Indian history.

SHASN received the highly-prestigious Social Impact Award at IndieCade 2019, a leading convention known as the “the video game industry’s Sundance.”

SHASN has not only created political dialogue in hundreds of gaming communities around the world and online, it has also encouraged many players to actively participate in the democractic process.

As a part of our launch campaign, our players wrote letters to their national leaders demanding policy change, reached out to world leaders on social media, and even committed to vote in local elections.

Educators are now using SHASN as a model of games for learning. SHASN’s next expansion also studies historical struggles for freedom and independence.
